 Surgery after gastric bypass

I have to share my experience with everyone in case you are wondering if it's worth it.. I had my gastric bypass and lost 100lbs. It was an amazing transformation and not an easy one. After a year I had stablized my wt. I felt healthy for the first time in a long time.. However, it took a toll on my body. I was not happy with my stomach and my breast. Everything dropped and it seemed like no amount of workout was going to repair it. I really hated looking in the morror. I was referred to Dr. Sofer and I chose him because he made me feel comfortable and listened intently to what I wanted to achieve. We decided to lift my breast and put in implants. I didn't have enough volume to make them fill out. For the stomach he did a tummy tuck. The recovery wasn't too bad. I was expecting worse. I guess that's a good thing. My first office visit after surgery my sister was with me.. He took off the bandages and asked if I would like to stand in front of the mirror.. My sister had her eyes closed and I was expecting to see a mess. I looked up and OH MY!!! My stomach was flat, my belly button was cute and my breast were amazing. My sister opened her eyes and said holy cow you look like you did in high school. I'm not kidding. It has been the best thing I did. It's been 3 months now and I am so happy. I feel like the gastric bypass gave me my health back and plastic surgery gave me my confidence back. Thank you Dr. Sofer...... |
